Dr. Jan Roberts
A 1977 graduate of the University of BC, Dr Jan Roberts has been in private dental practice in South Delta for over 30 years. During this time she also taught in the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC as a part-time clinical instructor. She has studied extensively at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Clinical Studies in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry and neuro-muscular occlusion. Dr. Roberts is in the process of becoming accredited with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is a certified Invisalign provider and in keeping with an overall interest in facial esthetics is also certified to provide Botox Cosmetic and Cosmetic Fillers. In 2005 she was asked to mentor other dentists in the field of esthetic dentistry and the “Foundations of Esthetic Dentistry” study club was born. Her practice in Tsawwassen focuses on esthetic and comprehensive restorative dentistry for adults. Due to the demand for this type of service, she opened another office in Coal Harbour, Vancouver in 2008.

Dr. Warren Roberts
Dr Warren Roberts and Dr Janet Roberts have worked together since graduating from UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1977. Following a serious back injury Dr Warren Roberts was unable to work for several years. However, he has recently been able to return on a part-time basis to provide the practice with excellent general dentistry services that complement the esthetic treatment provided by Dr. Janet Roberts. A life-long love of learning has taken him to many continuing education programs including numerous World Dental Congresses and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He has participated in many professional organizations and is a past President of both the Fraser Valley Dental Society and of the BC Academy of General Dentistry. He currently is member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, the Vancouver and District Dental Society, the Fraser Valley Dental Society and the Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. A lifetime involvement with the commercial fishing industry still sees him indulge his passion for the ocean every year during the commercial herring fishery in March. He and Dr Jan Roberts live in Tsawwassen and have two children, Brent and Carly.
Joani Neff RDH, hygienist
Joani graduated from UBC’s school of Dental Hygiene in 1975 and has been working with Dr. Janet and Dr. Warren Roberts for over thirty years. She obtained her orthodontic module in 1987, more recently completed Invisalign training, and has attended extensive continuing education programs including many at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Joani loves her work and her commitment to helping her patients achieve the highest level of oral health is highly successful in helping them maintain the beautiful restorative care they receive. Joani works integrally with Dr Roberts in both the Tsawwassen practice and also the new Coal Harbour, Vancouver location.
Kelley MacElroy BA, CDA, Patient Coordinator
Kelley is a 1982 psychology graduate of UBC's Faculty of Art. She obtained her Certified Dental Assisting diploma in 1988, her orthodontic module in 1998 (and more recently completed Invisalign training) and her adult education diploma from Vancouver Community College. Kelley has worked with Drs Jan and Warren Roberts since 1978 and also teaches dental assisting part time. She has attended many continuing education programs including those at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Kelley is involved with introducing new patients to the practice, running the office Whitening Program and overseeing the daily management of the office.
Carolyn Berkel CDA, treatment coordinator
After working as a dental assistant in Ontario, Carolyn moved to BC with her husband and family in 1992 and became a patient in Dr Roberts’ office. She joined the team in 1997 and obtained her Certified Dental Assisting diploma in 1999. She subsequently obtained her orthodontic module in 2006 and more recently completed Invisalign training Carolyn has attended extensive continuing education programs including those at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and more recently the Botox Cosmetics and Cosmetic Fillers training program. Carolyn works closely at the chairside with Dr Roberts in both the Tsawwassen practice and also the new Coal Harbour, Vancouver location.
